Study of Living Hadith on Social Practices in The Framework of The Itba'ul Janāzah Tradition in Kauman Village

Researchers see a reality where the tradition of burying dead in religious system that is part rituals occur several groups. The itbā'ul janāzah built by Muslim community. Kauman village has its own delivering corpses as form behavior. This study uses qualitative type with living hadith approach. this received hadiths related to obligation Muslims deliver for others. There are two types used theological references carrying out activities Kauman. First, narration Bukhari (1164) sourced from Abu Hurairah about rights and obligations every over other Muslims. Second, (1572) which reward corpse. From results study, it was concluded practices carried community were indirectly based on hadith.
